Two day talks between the Belgrade and Priština delegations at the technical level, held within the dialogue on the normalization of relations, ended today, and the following round could be held next month.
The European External Action Service announced the continuation of the technical dialogue on the Community of Serb Municipalities, the energy sector and the Kosovska Mitrovica bridge for the next month, and Maja Kocijančić, spokeswoman of the European Commission, said in a statement after the second day of talks between expert teams from Belgrade and Priština that talks were led in “constructive spirit”.
“The discussions were conducted in a constructive spirit and resulted in a joint identification of several issues and steps that need to be tackled to move forward on the implementation work, thus further normalizing their relations”, Kocijančić said in a written statement.
In addition to assessing the results of the talks, Kocijančić reiterated that in meetings between delegations led my Marko Djurić and Avni Arifi on February 26 and 27, the implementation of various agreements reached between the two sides during the dialogue mediated by the EU was discussed.
“The agreements on Freedom of Movement, IBM, judiciary, Association/Community of Serb majority municipalities, the Mitrovica Bridge and Energy were discussed”, Kocijančić said in a written statement.
